Boarding

We are conveniently located near Muskegon and Grand Rapids, Michigan, 5 miles north of I-96, at exit #10, nestled on 10 acres with multiple ponds available for your pets playtime enjoyment.

We understand that your dog is part of your family and we strive to provide unconditional love and devotion during your pets stay with us. Filling the gap as best we can until you return. Breeding

Storm’s Ahead Kennels also breeds Labrador Retrievers. We strive to produce healthy, intelligent, trainable field bred puppies that will excel on the hunt, at the line, or on the couch. Storm’s Ahead Kennels has Labrador Retriever puppies in homes all over the United States as loving family pets, superior gun dog companions, accomplished field event competitors in American Kennel Club Retriever Hunt Test and Field Trial competitors as well as Hunting Retriever Club Hunt Tests. We are also proud that several of our puppies have been selected for and trained to serve over seas as USMC IED search dogs as well as domestically in law enforcement search dog roles. Training

At this time we are not offering any specifically designed training programs for obedience or for hunting dogs. For the time being, we are focusing on our own dogs for a demanding field test regimen. We do host a bi-weekly training group that focuses on preparation for all levels of American Kennel Club Retriever Hunt Tests as well as Hunting Retriever Club Hunt Tests.
